It’s no new knowledge that the cost of living has skyrocketed. Simply feeding your family can come at a drastic price these days. Any little bit helps. Especially if your a parent caring to children who seem to always want to snack. Let me share with you some of the best money saving apps that I have tried.

#6 Swag Bucks

Swag Bucks has been around for what seems like forever. It was one of the first website/app I used to try to make some extra income. This company has a app and website that you can utilize to get money. They offer discovery options, surveys, shopping cash back, and more. You earn Swag Bucks by completing offers. Swag Bucks is the apps point system. 100 Swag Bucks equals out to $1. They have a category on their site called “Magic Receipts”. This is where you can upload photos of your receipts to get cash back. I have been a member of this site for years. In my honest opinion I would only use Swag Bucks for the grocery and shopping cash back. The surveys and discover options on the app pay very low amounts and can be more time consuming then beneficial. You can sign up for Swag Bucks here.

#5 Receipt Hog

Receipt Hog is an app that gives you points for just uploading your receipts. Unlike Swag Bucks they do not offer cash back for specific items. The app mostly wants to see people shopping habits and what products they are purchasing. This app comes in at the bottom of the list. It is legit and I have received money from them however it does take an extremely long time to get enough points to cash out.

#4 Shop Kick

Shop Kick is an app that allows you to find deals and cash back at your favorite stores. You select which store your going to shop at and then you scroll through the different offers that are available. There’s offers for grocery items, health, beauty, and sometime toys as well. You can also get points just walking into popular stores such as Target and Walmart. Similar to Swag Bucks they have their points system in a form called “kicks”. Once you purchase the items you take a photo of your receipt and it uploads it into their system. At that point they review your receipt for cash back opportunities the “kicks” points get added to your account balance. Once you have enough points saved up you can redeem them for gift cards or paypal deposit. You can get an easy 500 kicks just for signing up using this code: GOAL081543.

#3 Coin Out

This app allows you to complete missions, scan paper receipts, and connect digital accounts to earn coins that can be redeemed for gift cards. This is a new app for me. I had just downloaded it and still testing it out. It seems as though there are no specific cash back offers like Swag Bucks and Shop Kick. This one is similar to Receipt Hog where you just upload your receipts to get points.

#2 Fetch

Fetch is another cash back app that can earn you points fairly fast. Fetch gives you points based grocery purchases or on how much you spend on certain brands. Even if you bought items that don’t qualify for any cash back offers, the app will still typically give you a small reward for just uploading a receipt. This assists its users in getting more points. Click here or use code 6YFWQ to get a 1,000 point sign up bonus. Accumulated points can be redeemed for gift cards. I have earned $176 in gift cards since downloading the app. I like to claim my points on Amazon gift cards.

#1 Ibotta

Ibotta is by far my favorite app to use for grocery cash back. The app is extremely user friendly and they have bonuses that allow you to reach your cash back goals faster. You simply search the store your going on a shopping trip to. Then you scroll through the available cash back offers and add them to your shopping list. They have a very broad spectrum of items. You can receive cash back for grocery items, kid items, household goods, pet items, and more! Once you have purchased your items take a quick picture of your receipt to get your cash back. To date I have earned a $650.39 in cash back offers only from this app! They payout is fast as well. It’s users are able to cash out directly to their bank accounts or you can request a gift card as well. Ibotta is offering a promotion right now where you can get $5 just for signing up. Use code tfmjobo to claim your free $5 to your account.
